Description
In Level 1 students share a boat with another student and can expect to learn how to rig and de-rig the boats, sail in a group with coachboats around, how to tack (turn) and how to perform capsize recovery. They will also learn how to tie knots, the parts of the boat and understand the wind direction.
Level 2 is a continuation of Level 1, however students can now sail by themselves. In Level 2 students are introduced to the different points of sail and the basic rules of the road. They will be taught how to sail in stronger winds and waves along with proper seamanship.
